Floyd County Foster Parent Association (Rome) Louise Osborne, Pres. We meet every first Monday of the month except July from 6 to 8 p.m. We have covered dish at every meeting and a guest speaker presentation at almost all meetings to meet the needs and concerns of every foster parent. Forsyth County Foster Parent Association (FCFPA) We meet at First Christian Church on Sawnee Drive on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 7:00 - 9:00. Child care is provided by representatives from the 4H group. Annual membership is $10.00 and you will receive a monthly newsletter. If you are interested in becoming a Foster Parent, please either send me us an email or contact DFCS directly at (770) 781-6700. Our Association's members are dedicated to the lives of the children in the Foster Care System throughout Forsyth County. Our commitment to the children is strengthened by our support for each other as Parents. We encourage you to make the decision to provide for a child in need.
Fountain City Foster Parent Association We encourage everyone to join and feel free to ask any questions or contact us. Foster parents need to find ways to unite for our needs and concerns of our children.
The meetings are held the second Tuesday at 7:00 pm at College Place United Methodist Church. Childcare is provided. Dues are $5.00 per person yearly. We produce a monthly newsletter for foster parents.

Annual membership is $5.00 per person ($10.00 a couple) and you will receive a monthly newsletter. Training is provided at most of the meetings. Our Association is dedicated to helping the children that come into care throughout our county. We have skating parties, Christmas parties, fundraisers, awards for school achievements and helping Foster Parents with resources and assistance. We encourage you to help these children and our county is in need of new Foster Parents!!!!
