State Foster Adoptive Parent Association Our association meets every fourth Monday at 7 p.m. at the United Church of Christ on Euclid Ave. next to the Y.M.C.A. The Y provides babysitting for all our meetings and celebrations. Sarasota is privatized and we are under the leadership of the Y. Our association provides mentoring for our newly licensed foster parents . We have a advisory committee that meets quarterly at the home of our secretary Leslie LeClair or at my home Sharon Robb. I am a privatization and Legislative Chairperson for the Florida State Foster Parent Association and a member along with my husband Ron, of the National association .

Area FPA, Inc Meetings are held on the last Tuesday of every month at East Hill Baptist Church in downtown Tallahassee on Miccosukee Road. The Meeting includes dinner at 6:30 pm, Child check-in with Hope For Kids at 7:00 pm and training classes for the parents starting approximately 7:10 pm. The children ( Biological and foster) get 1 on 1 attention from the Hope For Kid volunteers during our training classes. We are a new and growing association with a goal of uniting foster parents for the betterment of the children. Being in Tallahassee, the capital of Florida, we could make a difference in the lives of all the foster and adoptive children in our state. We are open to comments and suggestions.
