DEVELOPMENT STAGES

This table is a very limited description of typical behaviors indicating normal development expected at five different age levels. Individual differences must be considered when evaluating a specific child's progress to a "normal development" chart.

The chart may be used as a guideline for "normal development" to help alert caregivers to abnormal development so that intervention will be sought.
